SMS Consent and Privacy Capital Preparatory collects mobile phone numbers, text-message correspondence, and consent information to respond to inquiries and provide requested school-related information. Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and text-message consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates. This restriction applies notwithstanding other information-sharing provisions in our Privacy Notice.
  2. Types of SMS Communications If you have consented to receive text messages from Capital Preparatory, you may receive individual conversational messages related to your inquiry or request, including:
    • Enrollment questions and admissions inquiries.
    • Appointment and school visit coordination.
    • Individual school-related communications.
    Example Message: Hello, this is Capital Preparatory following up on your school inquiry. Please let us know if you have any questions. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. School-wide announcements are sent through a separate messaging platform and are not part of this individual texting program.
  3. Message Frequency Message frequency varies based on your conversation and requests. You may receive messages as needed to respond to your inquiries, coordinate appointments, or provide requested school-related information.
  4. Message and Data Rates Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and service plan. Capital Preparatory does not control carrier fees.
  5. SMS Opt-In You may opt in to receive SMS messages by selecting the optional SMS consent checkbox on an applicable online form. You may also provide verbal permission when appropriate. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of enrollment or receiving school services. You may submit an inquiry or contact Capital Preparatory without agreeing to receive text messages.
  6. Opt-Out Instructions You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to a text message from Capital Preparatory. After opting out, you will no longer receive messages through this individual texting program unless you provide consent again, as applicable.
